1. The short version
Vacation Avatar is a free, non-commercial tool for creating an "on vacation" profile picture. Its core principle is simple: your photos are processed entirely in your browser and are never uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored on any server. The finished image is generated on your device and you download it yourself.

2. What data is processed
2.1. Photos and images you load. Processed locally in your browser via the Canvas API. They are not uploaded, not transmitted, and not stored anywhere.
2.2. Server logs. When you open the site, the web server automatically records a small amount of technical data: an anonymized IP address (the last segment is zeroed out, so the device cannot be identified), the date and time of the request, your browser type (User-Agent), and the addresses of the pages and files requested. These logs are kept for a limited time (they rotate and are overwritten automatically) and are used solely to keep the site running and secure.
2.3. Telegram sign-in (optional). If you choose to sign in with Telegram, the service uses only the link to your profile photo to load your avatar into the editor. Authorization data is not verified or stored; your name is shown only in the interface on your device and is never sent to the server. The profile photo is fetched through a transparent proxy without being stored.
2.4. Cookies, analytics, trackers. The site uses none — no cookies, no web analytics, no advertising or third-party trackers.
3. Sharing with third parties
Personal data is not shared with third parties and is not used for commercial purposes. When you use Telegram sign-in, the profile photo is loaded from Telegram's servers under Telegram's own terms.
4. Your rights
You may contact the operator at m@smirnovsystems.ru to ask what data is processed and to request its correction, restriction, or deletion. Because the site does not store photos and anonymizes technical data, the amount of retained information is minimal.
5. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date.
